New Universal Language
Gram is the universal graphic design project to prevent the spread of COVID-19 infection in a facility for people with autism. From making an icon and a poster, my team aims to create habits for the individuals such as hand washing and sanitizing. We are designing graphics in collaboration with the NPO Kyosaren and welfare experiment unit Heralbony. Currently, my team have created two infographs. The first concept is a traffic sign explaining hand washing. From the feedback there are many people who like emergency exit marks and traffic signs. The second concept is a cute character that promotes hand washing. The concept came from people in the facility enjoying listening to the character. According to the research from the facility, the effect of the poster has lead to the hand-washing population increased by a factor of 250%.
